Aushwitz Entrance

This photo is a photo of the entrance where all the Jews entered the camp at in Auschwitz. By what I have heard Auschwitz seems to be one of the worst death camps to be at during the Holocaust. This photo reminds me of when Elie is talking about his family walking through the gate and his mother and sister going one way and his father and him going the other way. He said that, that was the last place that he had seen his mother and sister.

This photo is kind of hard to see but what the picture is, is a picture of Jewish children that survived the Holocaust. So many people died during the Holocaust and only the lucky survived. When I look at this picture it reminds me of the part when the Germans are only giving the Jews little rations of food but this happened throughout all of the Holocaust. But in the book it reminds me of the big bowl of soup that Elie talks about throughout the book.

This photo shows the Germans lining up a couple Jews so they can shoot them in the back and then they'll just fall right in the hole in front of them. Usually the Jews had to dig their own holes that they were going to be buried in. This picture is memorable because the Halocaust should of never happened and neither should the hatred that when on towards the Jews. I just don't see how someone could shoot someone at point blank range because they were a Jew.
